Achraf Hakimi’s ex-wife, Hiba Abouk, has sent a defiant message after learning about the Paris Saint-Germain defender’s fortune.
Abouk, an actress, filed for divorce against the Moroccan international and claimed half of his properties.
However, Abouk found out that Hakimi’s properties are not in his name, and his net worth is almost insignificant.
Rather, all Hakimi’s assets are in his mother’s name, meaning the footballer doesn’t have to pay Abouk anything.
“I have zero attachment to material things,” Abouk tells Elle Magazine.
“I left home with one hand in front and the other behind, without the support of my family. But I had to do it because my environment wasn’t going to allow me to grow or be free.
“It was either my life or theirs, and I decided to fight for myself.
“When you separate, you restructure your life, but it is also nothing special: you have to remove iron from the matter.
“In life, there are many good moments and also other bad ones. You marry for love, and you divorce for lack of love.”
Abouk and Hakimi have two children, Amín, 3, and Naim, 1, together.
They married in 2020, two years after meeting in 2018.
