I Go Save, the famous Nigerian comedian, has gone online to react to a viral video showing Tonto Dikeh, the popular Nollywood actress conducting a deliverance session for a school pupil during an outreach programme.
The controversy began after the actress shared videos from a weekly outreach where she visited a school and prayed for a young student.
During the session, the actress said she had once been delivered from spiritual bondage and now serves as a vessel used by God to help others find freedom.
The video quickly spread online and drew reactions from many social media users.
Among those who responded was comedian I Go Save, who criticized the actress for focusing on a young schoolgirl while ignoring political issues affecting the country.
Through a post on his Instagram story, the comedian questioned her actions and suggested she was seeking public attention. He also mocked the incident and wondered whether the actress was trying to start a new online ministry focused on gaining YouTube views.
The comedian also raised concerns about the way the deliverance was carried out, suggesting that the situation involving a young child should not have been handled in that manner.
He wrote: “You leave the plenty politicians piloting this country into poverty and milking our National treasures that are your friends; Na small girl wey dey primary school you see to go deliver.
