Comedian and actor Woli Arole has revealed why he prefers to keep his family life private.

According to Naija News, the entertainer addressed the topic after a fan questioned why his social media rarely features his wife and child.

Woli Arole explained that marriage is meant to be a source of companionship and personal happiness, rather than something to be showcased for social media approval. He emphasized that private moments and family peace are more valuable than online recognition.

He added that not every aspect of life needs to be shared publicly, and that personal choices should be respected. In response to the fan, he wrote:

“Arole, you rarely post about your family, why? My answer: I didn’t marry for posting; I married for companionship! Not everything about your life needs to be public. Even without social media, life goes on! Just enjoy my selfie smile, abegggg!”

Bayegun Oluwatoyin, popularly known as Woli Arole, first gained popularity through social media skits and later expanded into acting, live shows, and motivational speaking. His comedy often carries faith-based messages, which he incorporates into his ministry.

Arole married his wife, Yemi, in 2021, and they welcomed their son in 2022. Since then, he has largely shielded his family from the public eye, only addressing personal questions when prompted by fans.
