Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has cried to her Maker.

On her Instagram page, she said she needs God’s strength now than ever as she prayed for his guidance and direction. The movie star noted how her movie, Oversabi Aunty, is coming to the cinemas in December.

“God, I need Your strength now more than ever, Your guidance even more, and Your leading through it all.
OversabiAunty is coming to all cinemas from December 19th. Let’s go!”.

Some days back, Toyin had declared herself a prophet while sharing a screenshot of a message she received from a therapist who praised her movies for being therapeutic. Abraham said she doesn’t just shoot movies; she is a prophet who speaks to people through her movies.

Some months back, Abraham had achieved a new milestone as her latest cinema movie, Alakada Bad and Boujee, gets ranked the 5th highest grossing Nollywood release of all time.

In March, Silverbird honored the actress with a Trailblazer award at the 2024 Silverbird Man of the Year award for being fearless, dynamic and redefining Nollywood

To celebrate her win, Toyin penned a heartfeltnote on Instagram, noting how the award is a reminder that hard work, perseverance, and passion never go unnoticed. She noted that the journey hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has shaped her.

Late last year, while celebrating her movie’s Cinema milestone, Toyin stated that beating her record had always been her goal, and she was glad she had achieved it. She noted how many people tried putting down her work, but God showed himself as God.

In a previous post, she made it known that she was her own competition as she expressed gratitude to her fans and everyone who has supported her projects.
