A social media influencer has defended Nollywood actress Regina Daniels amid rumours accusing her of substance abuse.
Sharing his experience online, he recounted meeting the actress earlier this year at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, describing her as polite, calm, and well-coordinated.
His words:
“I refuse to agree that Regina Daniels is a drug addict. Alcohol maybe, but drugs… noo. I met her once at Transcorp Hilton earlier this year. I introduced myself as a social media influencer — she was so polite and coordinated to be that, and I’ve met many drug addicts. It’s easy to tell that they are.”
He added that Regina’s assertiveness is often misunderstood, linking it to her position in a polygamous marriage.
“Regina Daniels is only a very stubborn girl, and when you’re one of the wives in a polygamy, you have no choice but to be stubborn because it can mean the difference between life and death. I no gree! Mba.”
The influencer insisted the actress deserves respect and dismissed the drug addiction claims as baseless and unfair.
