Six week before the armed robbery attack that claimed her life, Arise TV news anchor and producer, Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, had prayed that Nigeria never happens to her or her loved ones.

In the tweet posted on her official X handle on August 14, the former beauty queen wrote:  “I pray from the depth of my heart that Nigeria never happens to me or anyone I care about.”

LIB reported that d!ed in the early hours of Monday, September 29, 2025, following an armed robbery incident in her residence in Katampe area of Abuja.
