A woman has taken to social media to call out her husband and his alleged new girlfriend, claiming she financially supported him heavily after they got married in November 2024.
According to her, she spent ₦3.5 million on their apartment, gave him ₦5 million to travel to Kuwait, sent ₦2.5 million at another point, and later transferred ₦24.5 million from a job she secured — insisting she played a major role in his relocation and stability.
In response, the husband has now broken his silence, disputing parts of her claims. He admitted that she lent him money but said it was about ₦8 million, not the larger figures being circulated, and insisted he paid it back. He claimed he worked multiple jobs in Kuwait, including desert labour, to repay her and said he even bought an ₦8 million car for her on hire purchase, alongside other financial support.
He further alleged that their issues started after he spent money completing his father’s house and assisting his sister’s wedding, claiming his wife and her mother constantly demanded money from him. He said he was blocked on all platforms for months and, believing the marriage was over, moved on with his life.
