Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has revealed he began his career as a defender.
Osimhen stated this during an interview with Football Italia.
“I was actually a defender,” he said.
Osimhen also spoke about his childhood admiration for ex-Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba.
“Growing up I started to watch Didier Drogba, how he plays and try to see what makes a lot of people consider him as one of the greatest strikers to ever play this game,” he added.
The Super Eagles star has scored 18 times this season in Serie A and has also provided four assists in 19 fixtures.
