Sani Yusuf, a neighbour to late Arise TV news anchor and producer, Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, has opened up on the armed robbery attack that claimed her life.

Sommie tragically passed away in the early hours of Monday, September 29, 2025, following the robbery incident in her residence in Katampe area of Abuja. Reacting to the tragic incident, Sani, who lives in the same block as Sommie, said he was the first victim attacked by the assailants.

“This happened at the block I live in. I was the first victim to be attacked. Right in the heart of Abuja, man. I don’t wish anyone the things I witnessed. When I’m ready, I’ll share details for now may the souls of the departed find peace,” he wrote.
