Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has once again become a topic of discussion on social media after he shared an emotional apology to influencer and rising actress, May Edochie.

The actor, in a video posted on his official Instagram page, begged May for forgiveness over the harsh comments he had made about her in the past. He went on to describe her as a kind woman who has continued to thrive despite life’s challenges.

In the caption accompanying the video, Maduagwu wrote:

“Every negative thing I’ve said about you, I’m sorry. You have gone through a lot, but it’s just the grace of God that keeps lifting you up, and making you shine all over the world. I will keep apologizing every day, every week because you don’t deserve all the negative things I said about you. I don’t care if anyone is not happy about my apology.”

Beyond apologizing, Maduagwu also admitted he regretted giving Yinka Theisen the former partner of Linc Edochie his platform to speak against May during her public clash with the Edochie family.

The actor further addressed claims that he was financially induced to support Yinka, insisting that he never collected money from her.

“I challenge Yinka to bring out evidence or receipts that she ever paid me any dollars. Yes, a lot of you are shocked, Abi? I’ve been seeing comments that Yinka paid me this and that, well, I never collected one Naira. In fact, I initially gave her a platform when I thought Linc treated her badly until I later found out the gospel truth,” he clarified.
