Nigerian singer Oludipe David, popularly known as Spyro, has boasted that he won’t go bankrupt even if he stops doing music, stressing that most of his earnings come from performing at cooperate events.
Speaking on the Adesope Live show, the ‘Who Is Your Guy’ crooner explained that he gets bookings cooperate organisations and the elites because of his style of music, which is suitable for all audiences.
Spyro stated that a lot of people underestimate his wealth because of his humility.
“If I stop making music today, I’m made. A lot of people don’t know that because I don’t brag,” he said.
“I really don’t do industry shows. I do cooperate shows. I have carved a niche for myself in the industry like that. I get book for events by banks and elites like Tony Elumelu every end of the year.
“Because when they are looking for clean music maybe because children are going to be at the event, only few artists like myself, Chike and Johnny Drille can be called upon.”
Spyro added that aside from music earnings, he has also made a lot of investments to safeguard his future.
