Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator, Zicsaloma, has stirred online conversations after encouraging people to go for cosmetic surgery if they have the means.
The entertainer, whose real name is Isaac Aloma, recently disclosed that he underwent a rhinoplasty (nose surgery) to enhance his facial appearance.
Sharing his experience on Instagram, Zicsaloma revealed that he had previously missed out on several career opportunities because of his looks an issue that took a toll on his self-esteem.
He explained that appearance plays a significant role in the entertainment industry, adding that no one should feel guilty about enhancing their looks through safe cosmetic procedures.
“If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it,” he wrote. “Some people lost opportunities in life just because of how they looked. If it will make you feel better, go for it.”
The comedian’s admission quickly went viral, sparking diverse reactions. While many applauded his openness and confidence, others criticised him for encouraging what they described as vanity.
In response, Zicsaloma maintained that self-improvement should be embraced, not judged, stressing that confidence is vital for success in show business.
He also hinted at the possibility of undergoing more minor procedures in the future, noting that he now feels happier and more comfortable in his own skin.
