Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has. Lasted a troll for marriage-shaming her.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, she questioned why people think it’s okay to attack her personal life simply because she is in the spotlight. She noted how, as a celebrity, people come at you unprovoked, age-shaming and marriage-shaming you.
Nkechi reminded them that she has blood running through them and is a human like them.
“Is it okay for someone to come at you unprovoked? Marriage shame you, child shame you. Just like that? Because you are a so-called celebrity. I’ve always said this. I’m not a celebrity, you know. I am human just like you”.
The movie star revealed that she reached out to the troll in her DM and blasted the person.
“You give me, I give you, then everybody go dey okay. Then you now run kitikiti – katakata, you were crying because of just one line. But you, you write plenty now. Like I said, I’m not a celebrity. You bring rubbish to me. I give you rubbish back”.
Recall that back in March the movie star, in an Instagram story, revealed that she and her boyfriend, Xxssive broke up, as she made it known that there wasn’t any bad blood between them.
Nkechi started dating Eseoghene Obire popularly known as Xxssive, in 2021 after her failed relationship with Ekiti State politician, Opeyemi Falegan.
In a recent episode of her podcast, the movie star said she has never dated anyone who was more financially stable than she is, and has always taken care of herself. NBS, as she is fondly known, said she has dated down three times, and she wasn’t doing it again.
