Afrobeats star Wizkid has stirred controversy with his recent cryptic post ahead of his colleague, Davido’s wedding with his fiancée, Chioma Rowland.
NEWSUNPLUG reports that Davido confirmed a few days ago that he and Chioma would have their wedding on June 25, in Lagos, despite recent allegations of infidelity against the singer.
On Sunday evening, the DWW boss shared his pre-wedding photos with Chioma on Social media.
His colleague, Wizkid, caused a frenzy after tweeting “Lol [lots of laughs]” moments after Davido released his pre-wedding photos.
The Starboy boss again on Monday morning shared what appeared to be a shade at his rival, Davido, according to some fans.
On his X handle, Wizkid wrote: “Saying a prayer for every understanding woman on earth! Your king loves you.”
His post elicited mixed reactions, with many insinuating that he was shading Davido’s soon-to-be wife, Chioma, who has been very understanding with the singer despite cheating allegations.
Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, confirmed in a recent statement that she and the singer rekindled their romance between 2020 to 2022, which is the same period the DMW boss was also courting his fiancée, Chioma.
