Mabel Makun, the ex-wife of Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun, has written an appreciation post following her 40th birthday celebration.
Sharing photos of herself with her two daughters, Mabel said her birthday party was one for the books as she expressed gratitude to her Maker for making it possible.
Mabel said she is nothing without God and expressed her overwhelming gratitude for seeing her family and friends travel from far and near to celebrate with her.

First, to God Almighty my creator, who made it possible for both days, without whom none of it would have been achievable. Looking back, I am nothing without you, God.
Overwhelmed with gratitude seeing all my family and friends who have travelled from far and near to celebrate with me, words are not enough to express the depth of emotions I feel – I SAY A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL.
Another year older, another year to be better. My heart is full.
