Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has opened up about the meaning behind his signature red cap, a distinctive part of his personal style.
During a recent appearance on the show Comfortably Speaking, the artist revealed that the accessory holds deep cultural significance within Igbo tradition.
He explained, “This cap is a war cap. In my tribe, whenever warriors are preparing for battle against another clan, they all wear this cap.”
Odumodublvck went on to draw a connection between this tradition and his music career, saying, “The music industry is like a battlefield. So when I step into it, you can put two and two together.”
