Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has responded boldly to her critics by participating in the trending “Apple Challenge” making waves on social media.
The challenge, initiated by media personality Daddy Freeze, urges users who claim to have upgraded from an iPhone XR to an iPhone 17 to prove their confidence by dipping their devices into water.
After receiving several mocking comments from followers about her iPhone, Nkechi decided to take part in the viral trend, making it clear that her phone wasn’t one of the so-called “VeryDarkMan” or “Blord” replicas.
In the circulating video, the actress confidently showcased her collection of Apple gadgets before immersing her ₦3 million iPhone in a bowl of water to demonstrate its authenticity.
“I am an Apple girl, as you can see. All my gadgets are Apple. I no go let all of una wey dey buy this (iPhone) 17 wey I buy for N3 million, wey una dey buy am for N450 and N250, and the N50k one wey I dey sell. I no go let una disrespect me. It is different. Now, this Apple Challenge na Daddy Freeze start am. If they born una well, make una put una phone inside water like this,” Nkechi Blessing said in the video.
