Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked reactions after hinting that she might soon retire from acting as she reflects on her two-decade journey in the film industry.
The actress, who started her career as a child star, shared her thoughts on Instagram while looking forward to marking 20 years in Nollywood.
Expressing a mix of surprise and nostalgia, Regina described the milestone as “shocking, tiring, but fulfilling.”
She wrote, “It’s crazy that in two years, this youngin is gonna be 20 years in the public eye. As beautiful as that sounds, truthfully, it’s shocking, tiring, but feels fulfilling. But can someone tell me why I’m thinking of retiring and fully embracing my glamma era?”
Her reflection comes amid reports of ongoing tension in her marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, which has recently made headlines due to her emotional social media posts and family controversies.
Although Regina has not officially confirmed if she truly plans to quit acting, her post suggests a growing desire to focus on personal peace and embrace a new chapter in her life — what she calls her “glamma era.”
