Jesse Lingard and FC Seoul have “mutually agreed” to terminate the forward’s contract.
The 32-year-old signed for the K League club as a free agent in February 2024.
Since then, Lingard has made 66 appearances and scored 18 goals.
Next Wednesday, Lingard will play his last game Seoul – an AFC Champions League fixture against Melbourne City.
“My time in South Korea has been unbelievable – the football, the atmosphere and the passion around this club have been top class,” the former Manchester United man wrote on Instagram.
“I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity to play for such a massive club.”
FC Seoul, in their statement, confirmed that Lingard informed them that he wants to move to “the next stage of his football career”.
