One of the best forward players in the Premier League João Pedro has written his name into the history book of Chelsea Football Club by equalling Didier Drogba’s record.

Pedro reached the milestone in fewer matches, scoring his 16th goal in 38 appearances, while Drogba needed 41 games to reach the same number during his debut season. This achievement highlights the strong impact the 24-year-old has made since joining Chelsea during the 2025 summer window.

The Brazilian’s recent performances including a hat-trick against Aston Villa have helped boost his numbers and establish him as one of Chelsea’s most dangerous attackers this season. The goals also underline the growing influence of Pedro in the squad as the club pushes for a strong finish to the campaign.

He has shown his versatility and clinical finishing, earning praise from fans and pundits alike. His ability to lead the line and contribute in key moments has helped Chelsea maintain momentum during a competitive campaign.

This is a great feat for Pedro for him matching a record held by Drogba, widely regarded as one of Chelsea’s greatest strikers. This means alot for Pedro as he could become a key figure at Stamford Bridge if his form continues.
