Veteran entertainer Charlie Boy has reacted to the back-and-forth happening online between Regina Daniels and her husband, Ned Nwoko, and he did not sugarcoat anything.
In a video making rounds online, Charlie Boy said Nigerians are only being entertained by the drama, but the situation itself is nothing to laugh about.
According to him, marriage is hard work and management, even when it’s just one wife.
He said he has been married for 45 years to one woman, and even that alone has not been easy. So marrying more than one wife, according to him, is “double wahala on top wahala.”
Charlie Boy also addressed Ned directly, saying yes, he has money and yes, he married a younger wife, but money is not wisdom. He said wisdom is not sold in any boutique and that some decisions require maturity, not just wealth.
He went further, saying that bringing private home issues to the internet only gives strangers room to laugh and spectate.
He added that not everything should be dragged to social media, especially matters involving children and marriage, because once the public enters your family affair, it becomes difficult to control the narrative.
His final message to the couple was clear:
“Keep your dirty underwear and smelly boxers inside your house. Stop spreading family matters on the internet.”
