The council chairman of Igalamela Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mr.James Onoja, was arrested by Security operatives on Saturday, November 11.
He was arrested with lots of cash and ammunition. The money and the ammunition were packed in several ‘Ghana-must-go’ bags.
The money and ammunition were allegedly meant for use during the election.
In the viral video shared online, Mr Onoja who wore a white Caftan can be seen with other suspects sitting on the floor near an army checkpoint after their arrest.
