Barcelona defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 on Sunday to go three points clear of Real Madrid on the LaLiga table.
Ousmane Dembele scored the only goal of the game at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Barca came into the match looking to take advantage of Real’s 2-1 loss to Villarreal on Saturday.
And it was Dembele who grabbed the winner in the 20th minute, finishing off Gavi’s pass.
Barcelona now have 41 points from their first 16 games.
Diego Simeone’s Atletico are in fifth place, outside the Champions League places.
