Atletico Madrid talisman, Antoine Griezmann, is set to leave for Orlando City.
It is believed that talks between the two clubs for Griezmann are at an advanced stage.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X on Monday night: “Orlando City advance in talks to sign Antoine Griezmann from Atlético Madrid.
Orlando want Griezmann to join in the next weeks after director Ricardo Moreira’s missions in Madrid.”
Griezmann’s imminent departure from Atletico, comes only weeks after they signed Ademola Lookman from Atalanta.
It appears the LaLiga club are willing to let the Frenchman leave, especially with Lookman’s fine start to life in Spain. The Super Eagles winger has recorded four goals and two assists since his January move.
