Sevilla manager, Garcia Pimienta, has assured Kelechi Iheanacho will get more opportunities in subsequent games.

Iheanacho has made just five league appearances since linking up with former UEFA Europa League champions on a free transfer in the summer.

The Nigerian was an unused substitute in the Rojiblancos last two games against Real Betis and Barcelona.

Pimienta has however promised the forward will get more game time.

“I’m happy, the other day he (Iheanacho) was going to come on to the pitch. But Suso’s injury happened and that was a huge impact on us because he’s training well. The lad deserves to play more minutes,” Pimienta was quoted by infobiwenger.

“The other day, even though the result wasnt good, I was going to put him in.”

Sevilla will be away to Espanyol in the LaLiga on Friday (today).
