Bayern Munich legend, Oliver Kahn, has named two managers who could become Real Madrid’s new coach if the Los Blancos decide to part ways with Alvaro Arbeloa.
Arbeloa has been under pressure after Real Madrid’s elimination from the UEFA Champions quarter-final stage at the hands of Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
Arbeloa’s side are also nine points off Barcelona in the LaLiga table ahead of their match with Alaves on Tuesday.
At the moment, Real Madrid are set to finish the season without any silverware, and as a result, the LaLiga giants could replace Arbeloa at the end of the season.
However, when asked by Sky Sport Germany about which manager could become the new coach of Real Madrid in the near future, Kahn mentioned former Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp and current France head coach Didier Deschamps.
“I think an experienced man like Didier Deschamps could be a possibility, that he could step down after the World Cup and then take over Real Madrid,” Kahn said.
“I could also have easily imagined Jurgen Klopp. I think Jurgen still has that itch in his fingers. He’s also made it very clear that he still enjoys his current job.
“But things can change quickly in football. When Real Madrid calls, you usually can’t say no.”
