Nigeria forward Umar Sadiq scored an absolute screamer as Real Sociedad claimed a 2-1 win against Sevilla at the Reale Arena.

Sociedad went in front through Marko Dmitrovic in the second minute.

Sadiq fired home the second in the 22nd minute.

It was the Nigerian’s first goal since September 22, 2023.

He was replaced by Benat Turrientes 15 minutes from time.

The 26-year-old missed almost the entire 2022–23 season with an Achilles tendon injury.

Youssef En-Nesyri reduced the deficit for Sevilla at the hour mark.
