Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone has revealed two special qualities that set Ademola Lookman apart from other forwards.
Lookman has been impressive for Simeone’s side since joining the LaLiga club from Atalanta in January.
The Nigerian international has scored three goals and provided two assists in five appearances across all competitions for the Rojiblancos.
He netted a goal in Atletico Madrid’s 3-3 draw against Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 playoffs first leg tie.
Lookman will now hope to lead Atletico Madrid to victory when they face Espanyol in the LaLiga on Saturday night.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Someone said of Lookman in a recent presser, “He has different qualities compared to our other forwards.
“He’s more of a specialist in one-on-ones than in combination play, even though he can do that as well, and he immediately made a very good impact on the team.”
