Super Eagles forward, Samuel Chukwueze has been named in the Liga Team of the Week.
Chukwueze was rewarded for his superlative display in Villarreal’s 2-1 comeback win against Getafe on Monday night.
The Nigeria international played a key role in the Yellow Submarine’s win scoring one and providing an assist.
The 24-year-old was in action for the entire duration of the game.
Chukwueze has now scored 10 goals and provided eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions for Villarreal this season.
Villarreal, who is looking to secure a place in Europe currently in seventh position on the log.
