Former Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has reacted angrily to reports claiming that Real Madrid contacted him to be their manager.
Klopp, speaking at a Magenta event, described the rumours as “nonsense”.
The German has been linked with the LaLiga giants since they sacked Xabi Alonso earlier this year.
However, Madrid have since appointed Alvaro Arbeloa to replace Alonso, but the Klopp stories are still making the rounds.
Addressing the speculation, Klopp said: “That’s nonsense.
“Not once have they called. Did Real call me or Pérez and ask: Jürgen, do you fancy it?
“It’s annoying. If Real had called me, you would have heard about it. But they haven’t called.
“And what next – am I also taking over Atlético at the same time? Sorry, Madrid. They have to call me first before I can say anything.
