Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has explained why Sevilla thrashed his team 4-1 in LaLiga on Sunday.

Recall that Marcus Rashford’s goal was not enough as Sevilla humbled the Blaugrana at home.

The result against Sevilla means Barcelona have now dropped to second place on the LaLiga table, two points behind leaders Real Madrid.

Speaking during his post-match interview, Flick admitted that his team made major mistakes against the hosts.

”We are a good team, and the players are coming back. We have to take this positively. I am pleased with the second-half reaction,” Flick said.

”I don’t think it’s a problem with the system or the strategy. We have made big mistakes.
“We always play the same way. We can talk about many things today. Our performance in the first half wasn’t good.
“In the second, yes, we reacted well. I said that after the game against PSG.”
