Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal has named Inter Miami captain, Lionel Messi as the best footballer of all time.
Yamal also talked about facing Messi in the upcoming Finalissima when Argentina face Spain in March, 2026.
The 18-year-old Spain international spoke in a recent interview with CBS’s ’60 Minutes’.
Yamal said (via Barca Universal): “I think that Lionel Messi is the best footballer of all time, but he also knows that I’m a good player.
“There will be mutual respect if we play against each other.
“He knows that I am not trying to be him, to play like him, or wear the number 10 like him. I want to be my own,” he added.
Messi is the most decorated footballer on earth, having won 47 trophies in his glistering career so far.
