The Instagram account of South African content creator Leshaan Da Gama has been taken down just days after she addressed a controversial video reportedly involving her and Senator Adams Oshiomhole that went viral online.
Attempts to access her profile using the handle @shaandg47 now return a message stating, “Profile isn’t available. The link may be broken or the profile may have been removed.”
Earlier, GistLover reported that on Tuesday, February 6, Leshaan Da Gama responded on Instagram Stories after facing heavy criticism from Nigerians over a clip allegedly showing the Edo North senator massaging her feet on a private jet.
In her response, she did not deny appearing in the video but told critics to direct their frustration at the senator instead of her, writing: “Your senator is the problem, go be mad at him, not me.”
Senator Oshiomhole, through his media aide, has denied the video’s authenticity, insisting that it was created using artificial intelligence.
