Legendary Argentine forward, Lionel Messi, has revealed his two favorite memories from his time as a Barcelona player.
Messi said that one of those moments was winning the sextuple with Pep Guardiola as the manager and winning the UEFA Champions League trophy under Luis Enrique.
Messi, widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers ever, played under Guardiola and Enrique while at Barcelona.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star, who won many trophies under both managers, told Sport his two favourite moments as Barça player.
Asked to pick a favorite memory from his time at Barcelona, Messi, who now plays for Inter Miami in the Major League Soccer, said, “It’s hard to keep one. Thank God I was lucky to live many moments.
“I don’t know, generally when we talk about happiness we go to the titles, to the achievements, to the important things we have achieved.
“But the first sextet with Guardiola was extraordinary, the last Champions League with Luis Enrique too. I don’t know, it’s hard to stay with a moment.”
Now Manchester City boss, Guardiola, led Barcelona to a sextuple in the 2008-09 season.
The Catalans won the Champions League, LaLiga title, Copa del Rey, Supercopa de España, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
