Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde yesterday sent seven names as commissioner-nominees to the House of Assembly for clearance.
A source close to the House of Assembly said the list was delivered yesterday evening after plenary.
Six of the nominees are returning. They are Seun Ashamu (son of the former House Speaker); Akinola Ojo, Prof. Musibau Babatunde; Faosat Sanni; Prof. Daud Sangodoyin and Adeniyi Adebisi.
Mrs. Toyin Balogun, who was women coordinator of the Omi Titun 2.0 campaign organisaitn, is the only new comer among the lot.
It could not be confirmed if the list contained their proposed ministry. The governor is also expected to announce Secretary to the State Government soon.
