A 36-year-old man identified as Michael Bassey allegedly sexually molested two sisters, aged 6 and 2, in Delta State.
It was gathered that the incident happened last week in Osubi town, Okpe Local Government Area of the state.
Spokesperson for the state police command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident said that medical reports confirmed that the victims’ hymens had not been broken, but that clearly, there was an attempt to defile them.
“A suspect was arrested and will be charged to court, though doctors confirmed that their hymens had not been broken, but clearly there was an attempt to defile them. Clearly, there was no penetration,” the PPRO added.
