A middle-aged man has been arrested by the operatives of the Ondo Police Command for allegedly stabbing a 25-year-old man to death during an altercation.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Olayinka Ayanlade, the suspect identified as Wale Ibrahim stabbed the deceased, Fisayo Ajetumobi with a knife.
Ayanlade revealed that the incident was reported to the police by one Akinsola Lukman after it happened at a construction site along Litaye Camp via Lake Road, Ondo.
He said: An altercation ensued between the duo of Wale and Gabriel, during which the suspect, Wale Ibrahim, became violent and stabbed one Fisayo Ajetumobi ‘m’, aged 25 years, on the chest with a knife.
“Sadly, the victim sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot as a result of this unwarranted act of violence. The suspect was promptly arrested by the police, and after diligent investigation.
