A man was caught luring a girl young enough to be his daughter with N1,000 to get her to follow him so he could m0lest her.
The incident occured in the south eastern part of Nigeria and was captured by a content creator who saw the man talking to the girl and grew suspicious.
When approached by content creator LordZeus and asked what business he has with the girl, the man claimed he is the girl’s father.
However, the girl spoke up, claiming that the man approached her and asked her to follow him to an enclosed place further down so they could “touch body” and he would give her N1,000.
The girl said that when she refused, the man brought out the N1,000 cash and showed it to her as he tried to encourage her to come with him.
The men who gathered when LordZeus confronted the man begged on the man’s behalf, claiming he is mentally ill. They added that the child hawker is not the first little girl he has propositioned.
“Leave him, he’s not well. He’s not well. This girl is the second person,” a voice said.
“He’s not well but he can attempt to take advantage of a little girl?” LordZeus hit back at the men defending him.
The content creator advised parents to stop sending little girls out to hawk. He added that he hawked as a young boy and he knows what he witnessed female hawkers going through in the hands of unscrupulous men.
