A Nigerian man has taken to X to lament after he spent N400,000 on electricity only to get less units that amounts to a deduction of N140,000. Recall that the Federal government increased tariff on Band A customers on Wednesday, April 3.

In the post shared on his handle, the Nigerian man who sounded frustrated, wrote

‘’Omo! I went to Renew Electricity tariff today and it was at that moment I knew we all Renewed our Shege BANZA pro max whether you voted the current president or not

Bought N400,000 worth of electricity and got a whopping deduction of

1,311.51 units (N140,000) difference compared to the previous one I got for same amount.”

He shared screenshots of his receipt as well the receipts from the previous month, March, to show the huge difference in the number of units he got after payment.
