Former Kogi lawmaker, Sen Dino Melaye has taken to Instagram to react to a video of a classroom which collapsed and trapped kids in the northern region of the country.

In the video shared online, rescuers are seen trying to lift the debris of the collapsed hut to save kids who were trapped beneath it.

One child who was rescued is seen covered in dust while crying for his classmates.

Reacting, politician Dino Melaye wrote: “May God forgive us leaders and elite. This is unimaginable, unacceptable, and unpardonable.”
