A suspected motorcycle snatcher was allegedly burnt to d3ath by an irate mob in Makurdi, Benue State.
The incident occurred on Sunday night, February 15, 2026 around Baptist Secondary School, Achusa, when the suspect was said to have been caught in the act of attempting to snatch a motorcycle.
According to eyewitnesses, residents quickly gathered at the scene and descended on the suspect before setting him ablaze.
Security agencies have repeatedly warned against jungle justice, urging residents to hand over suspects to law enforcement for proper investigation and prosecution.
