Actress Omotunde Sogunle, popularly known as Motunde in Mr. Macaroni’s comedy series, has opened up about how a false pregnancy scandal once left her heartbroken.
In a recent interview, Omotunde revealed that she was wrongly accused of being pregnant for her on-screen father, Mr. Macaroni, and even alleged to have terminated the pregnancy. She described the claims as baseless and shocking.
“They said I was pregnant for my on-screen daddy, Mr. Macaroni, and that I aborted it. I was stunned. When did that happen? That can never be possible. Why must people assume there’s something beyond work in a professional relationship? At that time, I was really devastated,” she recalled.
The actress explained that she has since moved past the hurtful experience and now jokes about it with Mr. Macaroni. According to her, one key lesson she has learned from him is the value of silence, as responding to false accusations only worsens situations.
Omotunde added that the incident made her tougher and more cautious when dealing with controversies in the entertainment space. Despite the challenges, she has continued to grow her fan base through her role as Mr. Macaroni’s on-screen daughter.
