Popular American YouTuber and philanthropist, Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has expressed interest in acquiring the work of a Nigerian artist following an interaction on X (formerly Twitter).
MrBeast had earlier shared an AI-generated image of himself, his fiancée, and two kids, joking that the picture hinted at his fiancée’s desire for something. In response, Nigerian pencil artist Ifure Usen recreated the image in a detailed pencil drawing and proudly tagged MrBeast, writing: “I did it guys!!! @MrBeast. Pencil art on paper ✍🏾.”
The artwork quickly caught MrBeast’s attention. Impressed by the effort and creativity, the YouTuber replied: “Love it, I’ll shoot you a dm. Would love to put this on my wall!”
The exchange has since gone viral, with many Nigerians applauding Usen’s talent and celebrating the recognition from one of the world’s biggest content creators.
