Fortunately, her boss and colleagues contacted the caretaker who found her unconscious.

A Nigerian lady, Efemena, has recounted how she escaped death by a whisker after a gas leak in her apartment.

She had on February 2, 2025, posted on X about perceiving a strong gas odour.

Five hours after the post, she passed out.

Fortunately, her boss and colleagues contacted the caretaker who found her unconscious.

“I passed out 5hrs later after I made this tweet, alone in my apartment. Grateful for being able to quote this today. Thank you Jesus,” she wrote.

“I’d like to add that this happened exactly a week ago, and I got medical help. I work with the best set of humans in the world and my boss and colleagues literally saved my life and got in touch with my caretaker who found me in my home. God did.”
