American singer Ciara, who arrived in Lagos on Thursday for the four-day Lagos Fashion Week 2025, said the city’s growth and vibrant fashion scene continue to inspire her.
Speaking during the closing gong ceremony at the Nigerian Exchange alongside Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, she said, “I will be using my platform to showcase the beauty of Lagos. My heart beats differently whenever I’m here. The city’s growth and creative energy are inspiring.”
“Our administration remains committed to supporting those pushing locally created brands to the global market,” he added, noting that Lagos symbolises Nigeria’s potential to lead Africa’s economic future.
This year’s Lagos Fashion Week marks its 15th anniversary under the theme “In Full Bloom”, running from October 29 to November 2, 2025, and uniting designers, models, and creatives from across the continent.
