A newborn baby was found abandoned under the Oke-Foma bridge, Ita-Nma area of Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital
The baby was dumped by an unidentified person in the early hours of Friday, March 31, 2023.
According to a video posted by an eyewitness on Facebook, the baby was fully kitted before it was dropped under the bridge.
The spokesperson of the State Police Command, Okasanmi Ajayi, who confirmed the incident said the baby was discovered dead and has been deposited at the mortuary by police operatives.
