Suspected cable thieves have vandalized a newly installed transformer at Akai Town, in Calabar Municipality, Cross River State.
The transformer was installed this month at Akai Town courtesy of one Stanley Boyce Nsemo.
Mr. Nsemo, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Thursday, April 20, 2023, said the vandals carted away an armoured cable.
He urged anyone with useful information on the incident to contact him.
