Activist Harrison Gwamnishu has recounted the tragic story of a man who was reportedly k!lled on March 6 by suspected kidnappers in Umuchime Community, near Charly Boy’s residence behind Fuji Okpanam.
According to him, the victim, whose house is located in an isolated area, was about driving into his house at about 8pm when the assailants who were trailing him, attempted to drive in with him.
He said the assailants k!lled the victim’s security dog and then abducted him. Moments later, he was k!lled and dumped behind his compound.
While sharing the sad story, Gwamnishu pointed out that people who reside in secluded areas should ensure that the grasses around them are always cleared so that it wouldn’t serve as hiding spots for criminals. He also mentioned that residents of such areas should ensure they build gates that conceal their compounds from passersby.
