Nigerian clubs to know CAF Champions League, Confederation Cup opponents Tuesday

Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Enyimba will know their opponent in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League on Tuesday.

The draw for the 2023 edition of the CAF Inter clubs competition will hold in Cairo, Egypt.

Enyimba is a two-time winner of the competition.

Joining Enyimba in the CAF Champions League is Remo Stars.

The Ikenne club finished second in the NPFL last season and will be making their debut appearance in the competition.

Rivers United and Bendel Insurance are Nigeria’s representatives in the CAF Confederation.

Rivers United was eliminated at the quarter-final stage by Tanzanian club, Simba last season.
