A Nigerian woman, Funke Adeniji, is mourning her friend,  Toyin Salako, who d!ed in his sleep after suffering an asthma attack.
According to her, Toyin, who lived alone, had an attack at night and reached out to retrieve his inhaler but couldn’t get to it in time.
Funke added that his d3ath could have been avoided if he was living with someone . She then advised people against living alone
“This life is just too deep, nothing special about life, aye asan. I lost my dear friend, he’s an asthmatic patient, he d!ed in his sleep at night at the point of reaching for his inhaler,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Monday, September 8, 2025.

Last month, I heard of someone that slept and d!ed of heart attack just because he was alone.
A lot is happening , if my dear friend, Toyin Salako was not living alone, he would have had someone to get him his inhaler when the attack came.
Please, I’m begging everyone, for no reason should anyone be living alone, try and have someone that stay with you incase of midnight emergency.
I’m sad and tired, this is an avoidable d3ath
I don’t know what to write, my hands are shaken, my heart is weak.
Toyin Salako, suure oo.
